I haven't been on the forum for a few months, as I've been really busy at work. During that time, I received my full 5 year teachers licence. It's been a long wait but I am now well and truly part of the gold card club. =]

Welcome!
I was surprised, but I've noticed that it is recognized in other countries.

I wouldn't expect that. I'm not planning on working outside Thailand but it's always good to have options.

You can teach online while in Thailand. My license helped there, too.

Mine is on its way to my school, and I'd think I'll have the Mastercard in about 2 weeks, perhaps. three. Not trying to use an excuse, but I was never as busy as I'm right now. Covering classes for guys who don't show up for 200 an hour and other evil things kept me so busy that I had no time to be here.
My sincere congratulations for your success, I'll post my card in a few weeks and hope that I don't upset anybody.
Cheers- Mike:wai:

The friendly lady at TCT told me she'd send it in two months. How long were you waiting?

I'm still waiting for the renewal. It's been more than two months.
