Hello and Sawasdee khrap,

There are so many jobs for English teachers in bigger cities like Berlin that I'd like to let you know that it's pretty easy and straightforward to find a decent job.

The pay is great and cities like Berlin are way better than Beijing in my eyes.

A friend in Germany just recently asked me if I wouldn't like to manage a language school and after looking into it, I found out that teaching English, computer, or other subjects in English is booming now.

I'll post some contact addresses soon, just trying to find them all in English.

Berlin is a great city and why not making 4,000 Euros a month?

Should you have a question how to get a job, please feel free to post here.

First, I'll wait until I'm holding my TL in my hands and I'll hopefully get the online teaching job at 51 talk.

I've to start teaching my wife and son Germish which this was never part of our plans. But the German government wants to see a passed test by the Goethe Institute in Bangkok.

Once all is set up, I'll look into a good job with the help of a good friend in Berlin with some great contacts.

If that's true that I'm allowed teaching with the golden card from here and I can make more than 4,000 Euros /month, I'd be damn stupid not to do it.

In addition, I can continue with my german social security to be able to have a decent pension.

It's not in my interest to continue working for peanuts and I don't see a huge change coming for qualified teachers.

In Germany I can teach English, German and Computer technology. Plenty of jobs available at the moment.

4000 euros a month for teaching ESL in Germany? Maybe I'll reverse my Brexit vote in the next referendum...
