Just to start things off . . .

This is premature, but, it looks like my wife and I will rent our condo when we return.  Our worst case scenario will be living in the provinces off of social security and rental income.

The unit is is an older, but not antique, building. It is near MRT, one stop from BTS, and walking distance to a Tesco Lotus, Central, Union Mall, and a Big C.  It's on the 6th floor, which gets you above a lot of pollution.

The condo management company would function as landlord.  I really don't want to be an absentee landlord.

The unit is quirky. I think it began life as a one bedroom unit.  A previous owner carved a second bedroom out of the living room for a child.  On the plus side, that means three air conditioners. When we rented it to try it, a dozen years ago, rent was 15,000 per month.
