I have 20 teachers from another school coming to observe my grade 7 maths lesson on Thursday. I think that I have all the bases covered but would welcome any suggestions from my esteemed fellow teachers. What is your white rabbit when faced with an observation by Thai teachers?

Are they teachers from smaller schools in your area who'll use your classroom and your impressive and famous statue for their photo shooting session?

Or are you really talking about visitors who're asking very serious questions about particular parts of maths and mathematical problems in English?

Anyway, I'd prepare a lesson plan for each one, explain what you're teaching this hour and what the outcome will be. And of course, wear black clothes.

Why don't you let your best student find the answer to a difficult assignment while they're observing you?

 I don't think that they'll stay longer than 10- 15 minutes.

Best of luck from the lower northeast.
