Here we go again. Last year, I had no other choice than working for an agency and started at the beginning of June.

I found out that the other teachers had just started a few days before, as there's a "problem with the school signing a contract."

Even when I've already signed a new contract at the end of the term, there's no e-mail, news, or anything that points out that they've got the contract.

Considering last year, I assume that the school's waiting for a payment and then we might start, or perhaps not.

I had to delete my LINE application on my phone because the memory is too low. I'm glad that I just had done my 90 days and left Thailand to Cambodia.

I've just read GDP's post and I'm wondering if there are more out there who are still waiting for Godot?

Thanks for any posts.

There seems to be some movement and the assorted ones will be invited to give a demonstration lesson before they are hired. That really depends on how much the Thai staff likes you and even when you deliver the best possible demo, there can be plenty of reasons why it wasn't good enough.

The school starts on 14th, but foreign teachers won't be in before the 21st, or perhaps the 28th. The last payday was middle of March, not too many waterholes nearby. I'm just wondering if those who didn't have a work permit last year ( the majority) will show up? Wouldn't that be a huge risk for all involved?
